The Facers said their vows in the heart of downtown Jackson, antler arches behind them, the Tetons on the horizon, and zero fuss.
Why Jackson Town Square
Jackson Town Square is one of the most recognizable spots in the West, those four elk antler arches mark the corners of a public square right in the middle of downtown Jackson. It's an unbeatable backdrop for a tiny ceremony, and you're a short walk from boardwalks, alleys, and Snake River pull-offs for portraits.
The Day
We did a quick ceremony under the arches, wandered the square for portraits, and finished with a short drive toward the park for the kind of mountain light Jackson is known for.
Planning a Town Square Elopement
The square is public, so weekday mornings are the move if you want fewer onlookers. Pair it with a Grand Teton portrait drive to get both the downtown character and the mountains in one day.
